Photo a Day challenge....I did it!

Yep I did it, completed the PHOTO A DAY CHALLENGE with help from Instagram and inspired by Chantelle.....okay so it was a March challenge and it is now mid April but so what I have a wonderful collage of photos to remember each wonderfully full and frantic day in the month of March!

I do love challenges that make me 'think outside the square' when it comes to daily life and photography and Instagram is a fun way to share the adveture along the way. Thanks Chantelle, hope to play along again soon!

Another scrapbook challenge (thanks to the @Home girls)

There is nothing like a little challenge to get those creative juices flowing and inspire you to enter your creative space for a 'little play'...that is exactly what I did after Kim Archer's girls posted another challange at the @Home site - www.kimarcher.typepad.com

The challenge was set by Lisa, "create a layout inspired by Lisa's colour palette" (green, blue, yello, white and orange)...the look of summer, and I found the perfect photo...Lilly earning to surf (hmmm part of the school's summer sports program - never did FUN stuff like that when I went to school!!!)

 

There were some beautiful entires in the challenge stop by at Kim's site to check them out!



 

"Lets get CRAFTY in 2010"

Don't you just LOVE "Happy Mail"!!! Look what arrived in the mail for me today..check out the stunning packaging...

It all started when I discovered the lovely Wendy Treseder over at www.boutiquebabe.typepad.com. .......(you know how it goes, was checking out what Pip Prosser has been up to www.pipprosser.typepad.com when she led me across to Wendy)...how easily we get side-tracked huh!

Anyway I really like Wendy's blog (a new favourite of mine!) and really liked what she had to say ....."My challenge to myself and to any of you in 2010 is to listen to that little voice inside your head that says 'make something' and just do it! It can be anything: sewing, cardmaking, paper crafting, art journal, or scrapbooking. So come on who's with me? Lets get CRAFTY IN 2010"

I was instantly INSPIRED I mean that "little voice inside my head keeps me awake some nights"...so I emailed her and Wendy sent me this wonderful HAPPY MAIL to get me started!

There were so many wonderful goodies I cannot wait to play (secretly I now can't wait for school to go back..oops did I say that LOL)....THANKYOU so much Wendy I hope I do you proud!

So how 'bout it lets ALL GET CRAFTY IN 2010!! 

Challenge - What's Ad About?

This is a great new blog set up by some talented ladies that issue challenges every month using advertisments for inspiration...this month the challenge is to seek inspiration for the Tetley Green tree advertisment that appears on tv AND include a stamp in your entry...here is my take on the challenge.

 

 

 

I also got my Fiskars 'monthly fix' of recycling in the srcap by using some green netting that came with a recent fruit market purchase...LOL x
