Some HAPPY MAIL and more Recyling....

I LOVE 'Happy Mail', you know the stuff that puts a smile on your face and doesn't look like a bill...well yesterday I was lucky enough to get TWO pieces of Happy Mail the first some RAK from Lyn at Fiskars (thanks Lyn can't wait to start creating) and the second...

 

Aren't these push-pins just the best! I recently won some RAK from the clever girls over at www.embelish.blogspot.com ...hey, great example of 'repurposing' too...Bel and Em are busy getting ready for a stall they are holding at the Racecourse Rd Festival....so if anyone lives up Brisbane way go and check them out....I think the girls are planning on selling these very soon on Etsy....pretty cool huh..these are my favourites..

Now for some more recycling....the girls at www.fiskarscraft.typepad.com have been coming up with some great ideas, I needed some more 'containers' to hold my pens etc on my craft table so I turned these...

 

In to these with just a little help from my scrapbookign stash...

Ok, I have put enough for long enough but my kitchen floor is calling me....time to clean!

More goodies and a Christmas card class

Lucky me, I won!! At the beginning of October I left a comment on a post about some beautiful cards made by my friend Annette (www.annettehanigan.typepad.com) and I was randomly selected to win them...for the un-initiated its known as a RAK or Random Act of Kindness - isn't that cute! I was so thrilled, look at them why wouldn't you be...

 

Not sure anyone will be receiving these as a Christmas card don't think I can bear to part with them.  On Saturday I managed some more inspiration from my lovely friend and attended a Christmas card class at Paper Possibilities, now if you live in the far north and haven't already done one of these classes do yourself a favour..there are a few more scrummy ones coming up take a look www.paperpossibilities.com.au .

"Goodies in the Mail"

Ran around all day today, you know those days where you have so much to do but you feel like you've achieved nothing when you get home...I DID do some more Chrissy shopping though which was good and I DID get everything I wanted for Halloween so all was not lost.

Look what was waiting for us at the Post Office this afternoon...remember the girls entered their first Fiskars Kids Challenge during the last school holidays...well they won and their prize arrived in the mail today..lots of gorgeous Fiskars and Cloud Nine goodies for us to create some layouts - the girls were so excited.

 

I have also been busy creating my Christmas Decoration for my swap partner, I am really please with how it is turning out, I'll need to get it in the mail by the end of this month it has to travel all the way to USA and I'm not sure how long it will take to get there - stay tuned will reveal more later.
